Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The Irish discount fashion retailer Primark is opening its third store in the Czech Republic, creating more than 150 new jobs. The new store, located in Prague shopping center Metropole Zličín, should open its doors to customers in December 2024.
The company has already launched a recruitment campaign for more than 150 job positions, including sales assistants and managers.
The opening of a store in Zličín is part of the company's expansion in Central and Eastern Europe, which began in 2019 with the opening of a store in Ljubljana (Slovenia).
Globally, Primark currently employs more than 80,000 people, in 17 European countries and the United States.
