Description

Arla is closing 160 positions at its Arinco factory in Videbæk, Denmark, which produces infant formula and milk powder. The production will be moved to the French cooperative dairy company Sodiaal in 18 months. Arla aims to retain as many skilled employees as possible. The Videbæk factory will shift its focus to Arla Foods Ingredients (AFI). Vice Executive Director Luis Cubel acknowledges the difficulty of the situation and states that layoffs are inevitable. Currently, the Arinco factory employs 320 people in Videbæk
