Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Copeland, a U.S.-based provider of climate solutions announced the opening of a new office in Cluj-Napoca (Cluj County) to more effectively reach the company's European customers. The company is recruiting 180 people by the end of 2024. The company was formerly part of the American group Emerson, which also has investments in Cluj.
As part of its global expansion strategy, Copeland plans to recruit in areas including applications engineering, electronic engineering, Oracle and IT support, business analytics, sales and operations and logistics.
Globally, the company has 18,000 employees with offices in 110 countries.
