Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Compal Electronics, a company in the laptop and electronics production sector, will open a new factory in Czeladź and employ 328 people.
The manufacturer chose Czeladź due to the availability of qualified staff and its strategic location for efficient deliveries to European automotive manufacturers. The factory will manufacture ADAS modules, 5G communication modules, and ECU engine controllers. The factory's first production line will open in May 2025 and reach full production by 2028-2029. 269 production workers and 59 office workers will be employed.
Compal Electronics Inc, a Taiwanese electronics firm founded in 1984, produces various devices for clients like Apple, Alphabet, Acer, and Dell.
