Leroy Merlin, a home decor and gardening retail company, announced the opening of a new store in Pitesti (Arges County) by the end of October 2024. The company will create 100 new jobs.
The company will open four new stores in 2025 and 2025, in Bucharest (2 stores), in Bistrita Nasaud (Bistrita County) and in Braila (Braila County). For each store the company will create 100 new jobs.
In 2024 as in 2023, the total investment budget is approx. €20 divided between training programs and attracting new talent, modernization of stores and optimization of internal processes, opening new stores and development of the online platform and integration of sales channels.
In Romania, the company has 21 stores in 15 cities and a workforce of 3,500 persons.
