Finland-headquartered digital services and information technology company TietoEVRY has announced that it will lay off 400 employees worldwide by the end of 2024.
The restructuring programme will be implemented in one of TietoEVRY’s five specialised businesses, TietoEVRY Create. The cuts will affect IT consultants at the competence centres in Bulgaria, Ukraine and India. The collective consultation processes are expected to be concluded by the end of 2024.
The sources provide that TietoEVRY introduced a new operating model in the second quarter of 2024. By these changes, the company is to adjust its operational capacity in line with the market demand and improve its efficiency.
