Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Woodward, operating in the industrial and aerospace control systems sector, will create 100 jobs at its new production facility in Niepołomice.
The restructuring, starting in the third quarter of 2024 and taking two years, involves moving valve and actuator production from the U.S. to Poland. The company intends to hire new specialists who will be responsible for quality and management, as well as the engineers and technicians needed to implement and operate the new production line.
Woodward, an American company with over 150 years of history, has operated in Poland since 2005, continually expanding its operations.
