Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Tech Mahindra, an Indian provider of technology consulting and digital solutions, opened a Business Processing Services (BPS) centre in Riga, Latvia and will employ around 500 professionals. Media informs, that according to the company, entering the Baltic States is an important part of Tech Mahindra's long-term strategy to provide innovative technology solutions worldwide. The expansion of business processing services in Latvia will strengthen Tech Mahindra's presence in Europe, giving local and regional customers direct access to the company's wide range of services.
Tech Mahindra opened several vacancies in preparation for the opening of the centre. Customer support professionals with Dutch, Swedish, German, Finnish, Norwegian, Danish and Polish language skills are being recruited, as well as team coordinators, team leaders and quality analysts. The vacancies are open to candidates with basic computer skills and good problem-solving skills, focused on a customer-oriented approach.
