Worldline, a company specialised in payment processing has announced it will be dismissing 244 employees in Belgium. In addition to this reduction in number of employees, additional compensation and supporting measures were also discussed for employees that will remain active at the facility. The company management states that the restructuring is necessary in order to adapt to changing macro-economic circumstances.
Update, 21/06/2024:
Following earlier reports this year there were reports of 244 employees facing dismissal, which has now been reduced to 182 after negotiations between the trade unions and the company management.
