Description

TOHO Poland, a Japanese-owned factory specialising in the production of metal and plastic bearing components, will close its facility in Radom, resulting in the loss of 115 jobs.

The restructuring is due to rising energy and raw material costs and a subsequent decrease in orders, combined with increasing operational expenses. The first layoffs will start in the second half of 2024, with the complete closure of the plant being foreseen by the end of 2025. The layoffs will affect jobs related to the production of bearing components.

TOHO Poland facility in Radom has been the company's sole European plant, producing essential components for various industrial applications.
