Description
Wirtualna Polska Media, a media, advertising, and e-commerce company part of WP Holding, has announced that it will lay off 120 people.
The restructuring involves layoffs in less promising areas while increasing investments and hiring in strategic ones. Where possible, affected employees have been offered positions in other departments or companies within the Wirtualna Polska Holding group. The restructuring plan, consulted with the Employee Council, was met with mixed reactions.
Wirtualna Polska Media, has previously reported on its financial performance, showing a decrease in adjusted EBITDA from PLN 59.88 million to PLN 54.51 million, attributing it partly to increased operational costs and a strategic shift in the revenue mix of its segments.
