Description

Aerospacelab, a Belgian constructor of sattelites has announced it has started the construction of a new facility in Charleroi. The facility will be the biggest of its kind in Europe, estimated to construct approximately 500 sattelites every year. The facility will be finished by 2026 and will employ approximately 500 people. The company is seen as an up-and-coming player within the sector, last month in April it acquired the Belgian company Amos, a world leading producer of space telescopes.
