Pepsico, an international food and drinks producer has announced it will expand its crisps production in its facility in Veurne and hire 150 new people. It is the intention of the company to increase production by 35% at the facility, including a bigger warehouse and better facilities for staff. In 2026, one of the existing production lines will be demolished and replaced by a new one that can handle larger quantities of chips. Another year later, the pallet department will get a refresh. In total these investments would lead to 150 additional jobs at the facility, therefore this increase would lead to a total of 800 employees.
