Description

Gameloft Romania, a subsidiary of the French video game company, will dismiss 136 employees at its Cluj-Napoca gaming studio. ‘At company level we need to constantly reassess our production capabilities. After careful analysis and in response to changing market conditions, it has become necessary to implement a workforce reduction’, announced one representative of the company in Romania.

The Cluj-Napoca gaming studio was open in 2010, but the company started its activity in 2000, with a studio in Bucharest, where a team of 289 employees currently works.

The dismissal process will take one month, starting with 10 June 2024.
