Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.

Posti Kuljetus, the Finnish post’s eCommerce and Delivery Services business group, has announced that cooperation negotiations will be launched 18 April 2024. A maximum of 295 job reductions are expected.
A total of 1,319 people working with transportation and terminal operations are affected by the negotiations. The background to the negotiations is reduced customer demand resulting in a downward trend in transportation volumes.
Posti employs around 15,000 people in Finland and 1,567 of them in Posti Kuljetus.
Previous restructurings took place in 2019 Posti 2019 - FI.
Updated, 06/06/2024: After negotiations were concluded at the beginning of June, the number of redundancies had decreased to a maximum of 153 persons.
