Dahai Solar, a Chinese manufacturer of solar panels is building a photovoltaic panel plant with an annual capacity of 2,000 MW in Calarasi (Calarasi County). The plant will be operational in the autumn 2024 and it will employ 150 people. The company indents to hire staff from Romania and other Eastern-European countries.
The plant will have a production capacity of 2,000 MW of photovoltaic panels per year and the investment is expected to be €10 million.
Dahai Solar was established in 2011 and now employs over 1,000 people in four factories with an annual production capacity of 5,000 MW plus production lines for charging stations, inverters and batteries.
