European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The Spanish retail chain Alcampo is opening a new establishment in the city of Salt (Girona, Spain), creating 144 new jobs before the summer.
The retailer, a subsidiary of the French group Auchan, will invest 9 million Euro to create a new store, which will occupy an area of 4,500 square meters of the Espai Gironès shopping centre, or nearly a 10% of the total space. So far, the company has received more than 600 candidates and has selected up to 80% of the total expected workforce.
