Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.

De Lijn, the public transport provider for the Flemish region in Belgium has announced it is looking to recruit 800 drivers and 100 technicians throughout 2024.
In order to find the necessary people, the company will organise several (14) recruitment days. On these days, potential candidates will be able to experience the job and have a first impression of what the work looks like. Separate recruitment days will be organised for drivers and technicians.
The organisation faces difficulties finding enough people to fill in the vacancies. Throughout 2023 a significant amount of vacancies was launched as well, which it wasn't able to fill in completely.
