Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Irish IT recycling company Vyta has announced that it will create 100 new jobs worldwide by the end of 2025.
The company is to invest €6.40 million to expand its operations in Ireland and the UK. The company will recruit staff in finance, marketing, customer experience, service delivery, business development, operations, logistics, compliance, engineering, retail and business support.
The business expansion comes as the demand for ESG-related services is expected to be increased. Established in 2001, Vyta is an industry-leading IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) provider, delivering an end-to-end service that covers the entire IT lifecycle. Currently, the company employs about 120 people.
