Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Heineken, the beer company, will hire 400 people at Heineken Global Shared Services in Krakow by the end of 2024. The recruitment is related to the company's internal transformation, with the centre in Krakow playing a key role in the corporation's business operations. The Heineken center is looking for, among others, specialists in financial and management accounting, specialists in accounts payable and receivable processing, financial controllers, as well as executives and people for the IT department; Heineken N.V. is a Dutch multinational brewing company, as of 2019 it owns over 165 breweries in more than 70 countries. The Krakow-based center was established in 2012. The centre's business areas include finance, digital, supply chain, transformation and support functions, with Heineken Global Shared Services experts serving all of Heineken's European operations and corporate headquarters.
