Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
RENFE, the Spanish state-owned railway company, has announced a new public employment offer for the 2024 financial year, planning to hire 600 new entry-level train drivers in the company, though a selection procedure to be held on 13 April 2024 in Madrid.
Most of the new drivers (595) will be assigned to state-wide traffic service, while the remaining five will cover cross-border traffic with France. This employment offer includes 33 commercial entry operator job positions, 24 maintenance and manufacture (field of adjuster-mounter) entry operator job positions and, finally, 14 maintenance and manufacture (field of electricity-electronics) entry operator job positions.
