The French DIY chain Leroy Merlin has opened a new store in Calpe (Alicante), creating 100 new direct jobs after a total investment of 2.80 million Euros. The new shop, with a total surface of 3,200 square meters, becomes the 11th selling point in Alicante and the twenty-second in the Autonomous Community of Valencia. The store offers a wide range of products such as swimming pools, barbecues, and garden furniture, and it has spaces in showroom format such as floor exhibition. All in all, Leroy Merlin has 140 selling points located in Spain, with a total selling surface of 830,000 square meters. In 2022, Leroy Merlin sold for a total of 3,382 million Euros in Spain, with a net profit of 100 million Euros.
