Description
German semiconductor company Infineon Technologies is to create 100 new jobs in Ireland within the next four years.
The new jobs will be based in both Dublin and Cork where the company has two research and development sites. The expansion of R&D positions in Ireland will focus on the automotive industry. The new roles will include engineering roles specialised in analogue design, digital design, architecture, and verification.
Infineon Technologies is a spin out from Siemens and is one of the largest chip manufacturers in the world and has around 58,600 employees globally. The company currently employ two hundred staff in Ireland.
