Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The Cergy-Pontoise court has declared the compulsory liquidation of the "Hub de la réussite", which grouped together structures dedicated to the professional integration of young people in the Île-de-France region. The sites have been closed since 13 February and the 120 employees of the Hub de la réussite have lost their jobs. However, some of them will be able to apply for equivalent positions within new structures that will take over the integration activities. The Hub included "second chance schools" (E2C) in the Yvelines, Seine-et-Marne and Val-d'Oise departments, as well as a local mission in Persan (Val-d'Oise) and several support structures. More than 3,000 young people were supported at the various sites.
