Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Professional services firm PwC is to create 150 new jobs in Ireland over the next eleven months.
The new roles are across all business areas including tax, advisory, audit including asset and wealth management and risk and compliance. The new roles will be based in Cork and when the new employees are recruited, will bring the total headcount at PwC’s Cork office to 500 employees. The company is increasing its office space in Cork by 50% to accommodate the expansion.
PwC currently employs over 3,000 people in Ireland and 360,000 worldwide.
