The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The renowed American fast food chain Kentucky Fried Chicken has announced its expansion plan in Italy, revealing the opening of 28 new outlets by the end of the year. This significant increase in KFC's presence in the country is expected to lead to the creation of around 600 new jobs, offering substantial employment opportunities across various Italian locations. The decision to accelerate expansion follows the excellent financial results achieved in 2023, with a growth of 25 percent over the previous year.
