European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Electro Cable Group, a company that manufactures and sells cables, is launching production in Zabrze; the factory is expected to employ 140 people. The new investment was established in CTPark Zabrze, and is supported by the Katowice Special Economic Zone (KSSE); the factory located in Poland is the company's first foreign investment. Production is expected to start in the second half of 2024. Production workers will be employed. Electro Cable Group is the largest Ukrainian manufacturer and exporter of wires and copper and aluminium cables used in power, control and data transmission systems.
