Automotive supplier Bosch announced further job cuts at its German sites in Ansbach, Reutlingen, Salzgitter and Schwieberdingen. 500 jobs are to be shed by the end of 2025 in its research and development as well as administrative departments of the control unit division.
The company wants to realise redundancies by not replacing staff leaving the company and by offering employees jobs in other areas of Bosch group.
The job cuts in its control unit division follow announcements of reducing jobs in its drive section in Germany (Bosch-2023-DE) as well as worldwide (Bosch-2023-WO). Bosch is also reducing staff numbers at its Power Tool Division in Germany.
Around 12,500 employees work in Bosch’s Mobility Electronic Section in Germany.
