Younam Electric, a Korean company that produces components for household appliances, will invest in Grodzisk Wielkopolski, where it will eventually employ 150 people. In 2023, the company bought the buildings in Grodzisk Wielkopolski, where the beverage company Hoop was previously located. The new factory will manufacture components for white goods and air conditioning. The company is expected to start operations in February 2024, initially employing around 50 people and eventually 150 people. Production workers will be employed. Younam Electric is a copper parts manufacturer, producing various copper-spun products such as filter dryers, strainers, accumulators, mufflers, heat exchangers, distributers, welding and bending connecting tubes. The company has so far had two factories in South Korea, one in Vietnam and China.
