Description
Miele, a domestic appliance manufacturer, plans to relocate 700 jobs from Guetersloh to Ksawerow. Despite an increase in sales during the pandemic, the company has seen a decline in sales and consequently intends to save costs through job cuts and the relocation of part of production to Poland, where one of its plants is located. The factory in Poland focuses on producing washing machines while the German factory focuses on the manufacturing of other appliances. 700 jobs are to be relocated by 2027. Production workers will be employed. Miele & Cie. KG is a German household goods company established in 1899. It currently employs 400 people at its factory in Ksawerów.
