Ørsted is a big Danish energy company active in the gas and wind energy sector. The company has announced the dismissal of 250 employees globally, where 150 dismissals will take place in Denmark. The company wants to cut yearly costs by one billion Danish kroner and this will mean the dismissal of 600-800 employees globally, whereof 250 will take place now. The company lost more than 20 billion kroner in 2023.
The company has 8.900 employees globally, with most employees in different locations in Denmark.
