Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The COM40 furniture, mattress and components factory, plans to reduce its workforce by 3.7% (100 people) at the Ociąż plant. The decision is driven by economic challenges, notably a decrease in the number of orders. The redundancy plan, encompassing both production and administrative roles, is expected to conclude by the end of January.
