Description
Germany-based technology company ZF will establish two new production facilities in Hungary. The two sites will together create 313 new jobs.
The new plants will be located in Kecskemét, Southern Great Plain region, and Debrecen, Northern Great Plain region. They will supply front and rear axles for electric vehicles manufactured by BMW (in Debrecen) and Mercedes-Benz (in Kecskemét). The production sites are scheduled to be ready for operation by the end of 2024 and start producing in 2025.
The investment cost is €62.5 million. The Hungarian provides a subsidy of €6.25 million.
