Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
SNCF Connect & Tech, a private subsidiary of the SNCF Voyageurs railway company, plans to recruit nearly 300 employees, including around sixty on work-study contracts in 2024. As well as recruiting to support its growth, the company also wants to bring in-house a number of positions that have been outsourced to service providers. In particular, the company is recruiting for its Tech business, especially developers (back-end, java, fullstack, flutter, etc.), cybersecurity engineers, SOC analysts, product owners and product managers. Positions are available at the company's three sites: Paris, Nantes and Lille. The company is also looking for data scientists, customer relations and experience experts for its e-commerce business, for example, and profiles for its support functions: communications, recruitment, management control, etc. This subsidiary currently has almost 1,000 employees in France.
