Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Electrical engineering company Anord Mardix is to create 200 new jobs at its facility in Dundalk.
The new roles will include production and manufacturing roles, as well as engineering roles, management and operations staff. The business expansion is a result of a two-phase investment of €27 million in the plant which will include the construction of a new facility. The first phase upgrade will be completed by the end of April 2024 and the first of the new jobs will come on board then.
Anord Mardix currently employees 380 staff members at the Dundalk plant.
