Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Technology company SoftServe has set up its first office in Warsaw, employing 200 people. The opening of the Warsaw office is strategically important for the company due to its access to talent and its location close to European capitals and the headquarters of major technology companies. The office opened on 21 November 2023 and the team of the new office has been staffed with people with different specialisations, but the dominant category of specialisation in the Warsaw office is Big Data. SoftServe is a multinational technology company, founded in 1993 in Lviv, it deals with projects in areas such as Big Data, DevOps & Cloud, IoT, ML, AI. It currently employs 1,600 people in Poland.
