US information technology company Qualcomm Technologies is to create 150 new jobs based in Cork city over the next four years.
The new roles are in both software and hardware engineering, and recruitment for the new roles has already begun. The new jobs are a result of the company expanding its R&D facility with an investment of €140 million.
Qualcomm Technologies is a subsidiary of wireless technology multinational company Qualcomm. Qualcomm first established a facility in Cork in 2013. In 2020, it opened the Qualcomm Technologies facility in Cork city centre.
