Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
EXL, a global data analytics company, is to create 200 new jobs in Dublin over the next three years and will establish the international headquarters in Dublin. According to the company, the new roles will be in the area of artificial intelligence (AI), data engineers and other technology positions. Hiring for the new positions has already begun.
EXL will also collaborate with University College Dublin (UCD) as part of the Irish Government’s Human Capital Initiative, which aims to strengthen ties between higher education and enterprise to address future skills needs.
EXL currently employs more than 8,000 data scientists and 1,500 generative AI experts globally.
