American headquartered medical device manufacturer, Freudenberg Medical, is to create 100 new jobs at its plant in Spiddal, county Galway by the end of June 2024.
The background behind this business expansion is a surge in demand for the metal components the company makes. Hiring for the new jobs at the newly expanded facility in Galway has already begun. The newly created roles include positions in engineering, research and development, manufacturing operations, as well as quality and support services.
The company currently employs over 1,000 people in Ireland at plants in Galway and Leitrim. About 300 of these employees work at the Galway facility.
