European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
As announced on 27 October 2023, the German airline Lufthansa will be creating up to 2,000 new jobs in Germany until the end of 2025.
Lufthansa is actively looking for 2,000 new pilots and has just restarted its recruiting campaign ‘flybig’. The campaign addresses career starters as well as already trained pilots. The recruiting campaign comes after Lufthansa had to significantly reduce the number of flights this summer due to a lack of personnel.
Lufthansa currently employs approximately 5,200 pilots in Germany.
