Popeyes, an American multinational chain of fried chicken fast food restaurants, has announced plans to create 200 new jobs in the Czech Republic by the end of 2024 with the opening of 6 fast food branches in the country.
The first Czech fast food branch is to be opened in Prague in November 2023. The company is planning to open another restaurant in Prague in 2023 with a drive-in option. The Brno branch will open in February of 2024.
Newly recruited workers undergo three months of training. In addition to the actual preparation of fried chicken and sandwiches, employees are also trained in communication with customers.
The US based fried chicken Popeyes currently employs about 100 people in the Czech Republic.
