Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Haizea Wind, the Spanish manufacturer of metal structures and wind turbine components, has announced the recruitment of 295 people for its plant located in the Port of Bilbao.
The background of the business expansion is an expected increase in workload for the company. Specifically, Haizea Wind is looking for workers specialised in areas such as boilermaking, painting and surface treatment or engineering. The company has announced that it expects carry out recruitments between October and December of 2023.
The Haizea Wind Group is currently involved in the construction of new facilities in the Port of Bilbao, with an estimated investment of 150 million euros. Haizea Wind is a world leading Spanish Basque company specialised in the design, manufacture and assembly of large metal structures and cast components for wind turbines.
