The German chemicals company Evonik has announced an internal restructuring plan, which entails the redundancy of 200 employees worldwide.
The job cuts are to affect the animal nutrition division of Evonik, while there is no information on which countries specifically are affected by the restructuring. According to the company, the reason behind the global restructuring is the goal to save costs and ensure the competitiveness of Evonik. The animal nutrition business of Evonik has been affected by rising energy and material costs.
