European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The Spanish national railway company RENFE has announced the creation of 250 new jobs in various locations in Spain.
The new jobs will especially be in the field of commercial operations as well as maintenance and manufacturing. The business expansion is the result of an agreement between RENFE and the Spanish Defence Ministry, aiming to employ military personnel within the railway company. The new positions are specifically reserved for Army and Navy personnel who are in their last ten years of service, as well as for personnel from the Special Availability Reserve.
RENFE has already announced several job creations during 2023, in February RENFE-2023-ES, May RENFE-2023a-ES and June RENFE-2023b-ES.
