Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Computer Generated Solutions (CGS) Romania, an American owned outsourcing solutions provider, announced it plans to create 100 new jobs by the end of 2023 at its centre in Targu Jiu (Gorj County). The main services provided by CGS Romania are customer care, helpdesk and technical support and sales for telecoms, IT and financial services companies. At Targu Jiu centre, the company currently employs 300 people.
CGS Romania currently employs 3,452 workers in Romania.
The company is one of the world's leading providers of business process outsourcing solutions, and has been operating on the Romanian market since 2006. The company provides services locally in 18 foreign languages, with seven support centres in Bucharest, Brasov, Sibiu, Targu-Jiu, Miercurea Ciuc, Galati and now Constanta.
