Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
PSO Maskpol, a manufacturer of uniforms and other military products, has opened a factory in Częstochowa, where it will employ 250 people. The PSO Maskpol manufactures ballistic protection products: helmets and bulletproof vests; anti-chemical protection products: gas masks, protective clothing and decontamination equipment, as well as preventive protection products (shields, truncheons, anti-hit clothing).
The company opened the new factory in connection with its plans to expand capacity related to increased demand from the Polish Armed Forces. The factory opened on 29 September and will employ production workers to work on uniforms and other military personal protection items.
PSO Maskpol has been on the market for 55 years and is part of the Polish Armed Forces Group.
