Fortaco, a manufacturer of steel fabrications, has started the construction of a new factory in Knurów, where it will employ 200 people. The construction of the factory is related to the company's growth; the main reason for the choice of the location is that there are steel production and trading companies near Knurów. The factory will open in mid-2024; the recruitment is already ongoing; production workers will be employed, and currently, maintenance manager, warehouse manager, technology engineer and production manager are being recruited. Fortaco is a production partner for companies operating in the area of heavy industry mechanical engineering (agriculture, forestry, construction, material handling, mining). The company has a total of nearly 2,300 employees and operates in Finland, Estonia, Poland, Hungary and Slovakia; in Poland, the company has two branches: in Wrocław and in Janów Lubelski.
