Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Société Nationale des Chemins de Fer Luxembourgeois (CFL), the national railway company of Luxembourg, announced it will create 500 new positions within the entire group in Luxembourg for the year 2023. The new roles encompass train drivers, maintenance agents, computer technicians and programmers.
CFL Group employs 4,966 workers and is currently undergoing a significant expansion due to ongoing massive investments in the Luxembourg rail network.
All 500 of these positions will be offered as permanent employment contracts and 300 of them will be allocated to businesses related to passenger transportation activities.
