MAHLE Behr Senica, a subsidiary of German automotive company Mahle, has announced a business expansion to its western Slovakia site. The company produces HVAC (heating, ventilation, air-conditioning) units for the automotive industry. The new manufacturing facility will employ 360 new workers, adding to the 560 already existing within the company.
The hires will start in November 2023 and the process is expected to be completed by early 2024. The restructuring is directly linked to the establishment of a new production hall at the site. The new jobs are in a range of positions from assembly line to managerial positions.
MAHLE Behr Senica was established in 2015 and is one of the main employers in the region (Záhorie).
