Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Brückner Slovakia, a subsidiary of the German Brückner Group, currently operating in Topolcany, announced the acquiring of new premises within the Detva industrial park. The company plans to open a novel manufacturing site for special machinery by January 2024. The first stage of the expansion will lead to the creation of 200 novel jobs.
The training of the new hires will begin in September 2023.
Banska Bystrica Region, the Detva district and with the Ministry of Economy are interested in the success of the investment as it promises to generate employment opportunities and prevent labour migration towards the capital, Bratislava.
Currently, Brückner Slovakia has 341 employees.
